Synergy Executive Sourcing operates in accordance with the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 and is bound by the National Privacy Principles.
Collecting Personal Information
Synergy Executive Sourcing collects personal and sensitive information from candidates including information regarding qualifications, skills, aptitude and psychometric test results, career history and referee comments. Such information is used to assess and match candidate’s experience and competencies to our client’s requirements in relation to employment opportunities.
Storing Personal Information
Information will be stored securely at our business office and will not be visible to, or accessible by, the public or visitors to this office. Documents will not be recycled and information that is electronically stored is securely protected.
Using & Disclosing Personal Information
As such, information provided by candidates will be used solely by employees of Synergy Executive Sourcing and will only be disclosed to relevant clients of Synergy Executive Sourcing and Referees with the consent and knowledge of candidates (or to any person with a lawful entitlement to obtain the information).
If you do not provide us the information we seek, we may be limited in our ability to consider you for specific employment opportunities.
Access to your information for correction
Subject to some exceptions which are set out in the National Privacy Principles (Principle 6 - Access and Correction), candidates have a right to see and have a copy of personal and sensitive information about them that Synergy Executive Sourcing holds.
If you are able to establish that personal or sensitive information that we hold about you is not accurate, complete and up-to-date, Synergy Executive Sourcing will take reasonable steps to correct it so that it is accurate, complete and up-to-date. If we are unable to agree that personal or sensitive information that we hold is accurate, complete and up-to-date, you may ask us to place with the information, a statement written by you that claims that particular information is not accurate, complete and up-to-date.
