Heavy Manufacturing
Our expertise in heavy industry is strong and much of our experience has been gained recruiting for smelters, refineries, process plants and other heavy manufacturing operations.
These operations are often geographically dispersed and the challenge is sourcing candidates with the required skills and experience as well as the motivation to live in a regional or remote location.
Our work in this sector covers alumina refineries in the Northern Territory and Western Australia and smelters in Queensland and Victoria. We have also recruited for chemical plants in North West Queensland and the copper smelter and refinery at Olympic Dam in South Australia.
Many of these assignments have been management roles but we also recruit the range of specialist positions in Metallurgy, Process and Chemical Engineering, the associated Mechanical and Electrical Engineering positions and support services such as HR, Safety, Training, and Finance positions.
